Areas

Areas I work in

Backend engineering full time, apps and hardware after hours, and some metalwork on weekends.

Backend systems

Java and Spring in banking and telco: microservices, integrations, Oracle and Db2, mentoring. My day job.

Apps and web

Android in Kotlin, Next.js and TypeScript on the web. From data model to Play Store release.

Embedded hardware

ESP32-S3 boards, C++ firmware, audio and sensors, PCB layout and documentation.

Fabrication

CAD, basic structural checks and TIG welding, mostly on the CX500.

How I work

I try to keep things simple: clear interfaces, predictable behaviour, and code that is still readable a year later.

Most of what I have learned came from finishing projects and then living with them. That shapes how I plan the next one.
