Interface Direction
The best file transfer UI is quiet. It should make the current state obvious, keep the next action close, and avoid turning one transfer into a project.
That means fewer decorative screens and more emphasis on progress, trust, and recovery when the network is not ideal.
Product Discipline
The challenge is not adding every possible sharing feature. The challenge is protecting the small loop that makes the product useful: pick, send, receive, done.
